Established in 1998, the Authority is governed by a five-member Board appointed by the Milesburg Borough Council. Board members serve five-year terms and may be reappointed to continue their service to the community.

Our water supply originates from the renowned Bellefonte Big Spring, one of Central Pennsylvania’s most dependable natural water sources. Water is delivered to our system through a 16-inch gravity-fed transmission line and distributed through a network that includes a chlorination and pumping facility, approximately 12 miles of water mains, and a storage tank with a capacity exceeding 400,000 gallons.

Today, the Milesburg Borough Water Authority proudly provides dependable water service to nearly 900 customers within Milesburg Borough and Boggs Township.
